Its various sources of entertainment were there to inspire friendship within people with common interests. Everyone was supposed mingle serenely, play the games, and have nothing but a fun time training and exercising. Well, Miki knew that was a load of bull shit. There was no way in seven hells that was going to happen with everyone. Take… well, take Miki for an example. She was a young, ferocious little alpha werewolf; she was born like that and nothing anyone did was going to change it, just like no one was ever going to change the fact that her instincts told her to take down competing alphas and driven them from her territory, and kill vampires on site. The only thing barely keeping her from doing both of these things was a suppressor pill the school had developed. Too freaking bad that for naturally violent, highly aggressive wolves, that only took the edge off. Most of her control came from pure will power and the fact that omegas were close by. Their mental powers kept her level headed for as long as they stuck close enough to her and no high strung alpha came matching around trying to oppose her self-proclaimed leader position. She was dead set; if Miki had to be in this school, attending with people and creatures she cared nothing about coming into contact with, then she would dominate. Everything. If she made herself the alpha of alphas, then there would be no one to challenge her anymore. With a huff, the wolf girl shook her head to clear it, pushing her power hungry thoughts away. Her long mane of hair, tied up in a ponytail, created a nice breeze on the back of her neck. Heterochromic optics glanced around the game ground to see if she could spot anyone that she deemed suitable to communicate with… nope, no such luck. Oh well. Even if this place didn’t give her a chance to interact with the people she enjoyed, it was one of the more entertaining places on campus. A girl was more than capable of having fun her on her own. Stretching, Miki prepared herself for the track. Running was one of her favorite hobbies… although it was much more rewarding when she was a wolf that it was on two legs. But one makes do with what they have when they must, she supposed, and took off at a slow jog around the track, watching a crowd of people play some sort of soccer in the center. It was oddly relaxing with the noise of sports around her and the sun warming her back; she could definitely get used to something like this. Maybe she’d have to make a habit of coming to the game grounds.[/style] [style=border-bottom: 5px solid #5b727f; color: #EBEBEB; font-size: 14px; text-transform: lowercase; letter-spacing: -2px; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; font-family: georgia; line-height: 11px; text-align: right; width: 323px; margin-top: -16px; padding-right: 12px; text-shadow: #080808 5px 1px 1px;]you can't break the broken,[/style][style=padding-right: 20px; padding-left: 20px; padding-top: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; overflow: auto; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 9px; color: #d1e3ee; height: 55px; width: 295px; background-color: #4E4848]TAGGED: Open WORD COUNT: 489 NOTES: [/style] |
